Tyler earned his history degree in 1997 from UC Santa Barbara, going to work in the game developer recruitment industry. In 2002, he teamed with Chris, Richard and Claudio to form Emerge.

Tyler uses his knowledge of developers, publishers and license holders to assemble optimal game creation teams.
